The Great Controversy

I understand what it’s like to live in a broken and unstable world. 

I see the same things you see. It almost feels like we are surrounded by floods, fires and war.  If all that wasn’t enough, the dramatic rise in costs of living, food shortages, a global pandemic and extreme weather events impact our world almost on a weekly basis.

The book “The Great Controversy” expands on what you have read in “The Great Hope”, following the story of the controversy between God and Satan, tracing the conflict into current and future world events. When I read this book, I understood how to stand firmly for God and His truth and prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus.

As far as I see, there are two possible scenarios to our current situation:

1. Look for answers and solutions within ourselves as we have done since time began, or
2. Seek solutions outside of ourselves – does God really have answers for our crumbling world?
